Mogens Hagelskær is Head of Renewable Energy Production at Andel, Denmark’s leading energy and infrastructure group. He has extensive experience in leading large-scale energy and infrastructure programmes at the intersection of policy, markets and local communities. Previously, Mogens served as Deputy Director General at the Danish Energy Agency, where he was responsible for some of Denmark’s most strategic energy initiatives, including the Energy Islands programme, offshore wind, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and critical energy infrastructure. He has also served as CEO of Odense Light Rail, a publicly owned urban rail system, with overall responsibility for governance, procurement, construction and operations. Mogens brings strong expertise in stakeholder management and dialogue with governments, regulators, industry and civil society, and currently focuses on developing and operating renewable energy production with an emphasis on local acceptance, community engagement and long-term value creation.
